Our private flight tour service is anything but a regular tour company. This is the marriage of aviation enthusiasm, hospitality and of seeking new acquaintances.
The idea of the private flight tour service was born after a flight with the cousin of one of my friends and classmates, Noah, from Harvard Business School. One day Noah sent me an e-mail that his cousin and wife were visiting Budapest and asking for some tourism recommendations. Two days later my wife and I met Josh, Sasha and their friend Jianshu in a cozy restaurant in Budapest. Over our nice dinner we discussed the best options for site seeing in Budapest during their 3-day visit. I suggested they join me for a private flight tour to the Danube-bend, the so-called “Grand Canyon of Central Europe”. Josh and Sasha immediately fell in love with the idea, while Jianshu was a bit hesitant due to his reservations about flying in a small plane. This is an anxiety I can understand very well since I started piloting a few years ago to overcome my terrible fear of flying. Sharing my personal experience with Jianshu helped him to decide to go for it. Two days later we had an excellent afternoon flight to Visegard and Esztergom and landed just before the sun set at the historical airfield in Budaors.
I taxied my friends back to their hotel and during the ride Sasha suggested that tourists would love this service. A few days later I set up this website and have since been receiving calls from chaps all over the world visiting Budapest.
I am a business professional with experience at strategic consulting, private equity and general management. I am the founder of InQBator (ww.iqb.hu) the premier business incubator in Central Europe. I love meeting new people, learning their story and sharing my passion and experience with them. This service is much less about volume and profit and much more about everyone having fun and spending quality time with interesting people.
